First day of the Occupy Philadelphia protest. A bit late I know, but I’ve got into the habit of not editing or reviewing my shots until months later (aka lazy). This is why the images posted here (so far) were shot in 2011. I just got into the October 2011 files this week so expect more occupy stuff, maybe. Not a lot really went on there in terms of things to shoot. Most of the people “wanted” to be photographed, these are typically the people I avoid. While spending a good amount of time there, I don’t remember taking a ton of shots.
Four images from my Urban Landscapes series were selected as the artwork for the newly renovated Broad Street Diner. If you happen to find yourself in South Philadelphia and looking for a place to eat, check it out @ 1135 South Broad Street. It’s open 24 hours and the food is really good since it’s owned by Michael Petrogiannis; who also owns the Melrose Diner, the Mayfair, Tiffany’s, the Country Club, and Warminster West.
